Matthew Williamson

Matthew is head of Weightmans corporates segment and has responsibility for clients in the financial services, transport and logistics, manufacturing, retail and leisure, and energy and utilities sectors. He is client Partner for national retailers as well as third party logistics providers. He primarily advises on complex landlord and tenant matters as well as property acquisitions and disposals with a specialism in negotiating overage and clawback provisions. Matthew sits on the property advisory board of the UK Warehousing Association and has worked with them and Savills to develop a model form of warehouse lease, in order to provide a starting point for the industry when negotiating a new lease of this type of property.
