The CSRD, CSDDD & EU Taxonomy - Upcoming Changes
Introduction
On 8 November 2024, Commission President von der Leyen discussed potential plans to streamline and consolidate the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (‘CSRD’), the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (‘CSDDD’) and the EU Taxonomy Regulation by introducing an ‘omnibus regulation’.
The EU Commission is expected to release a proposal for the ‘omnibus package’ at the end of February 2025.
In this new virtual classroom seminar, EU sustainability law expert Alexandra von Westernhagen will shed some light on what this means for the EU sustainability law framework and companies having to comply with it.
