Off Boarding - How to Positively Part Ways & Why It’s Important
Introduction
Employers spend vast amounts of time and money in recruiting staff and implementing initiatives to make them want to stay and engage as employees. Many of those staff will go on to remain with their employer for many years and become loyal and productive employees. That said, there comes a point when people leave an organisation, and this might be for a variety of reasons.
In many cases the employee decides to resign and in others, it may be the employer’s decision to terminate the contract of employment.
In either event, the employer must then work through a period of time where the employee is serving their notice or otherwise moving towards their departure.
Employers do not always plan how to manage staff who are leaving or how best to respond to a resignation - but it is always best to part company on a good footing if possible.
Presented by HR expert Helen Cleare, this virtual classroom seminar will discuss why it is important to positively off board employees and will share practical tips on how to manage the exit process.
