Introduction

The regulatory regime tightened significantly for Principals in December 2022.

Since that time the FCA has monitored the improvements that Principals and Appointed Representatives (‘ARs’) have made.

Following the FCA’s publication in September 2024 outlining good and poor practice, this virtual classroom seminar is specifically designed for Principal firms responsible for overseeing ARs.

You will be walked through all stages of the Principal-AR relationship from initial due diligence, onboarding, ongoing monitoring, management information, governance and more.

The session will appeal to senior managers, heads of compliance, Consumer Duty Champions, Certified compliance roles and others within the compliance function of a Principal firm. It is suitable for Introducer Appointed Representatives as well as Appointed Representatives.
