Agricultural Tenancies & the New Code of Practice - What You Need to Know
Introduction
The Agricultural Landlord and Tenant Code of Practice for England (April 2024) gives important guidance for professionals advising on farm tenancies.
It has long been recognised that agricultural tenancy disputes are often disproportionately extended and costly.
The law of tenancies under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 has changed recently and the advent of eco-system services (among other things) is making for important negotiations between agricultural landlords and tenants.
The Code sets out to guide landlords, tenants and their professional advisers on how to conduct negotiations in the most effective way.
This new virtual classroom seminar will take you through the key themes of the Code, with space to raise questions.
